Your Mission:
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Growth Manager to lead our expansion efforts within the UK market. This is a unique chance to become part of a vibrant and diverse sales team committed to identifying key prospects, securing new clients, and amplifying our market share. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in the payments sector, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of payment solutions, market dynamics, and the requirements of businesses operating within this domain. A proactive and results-oriented mindset, along with exceptional relationship-building skills, will be essential to navigate the fast-paced and competitive landscape.
Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Head of Sales UK (Banking).
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Implement a vigorous outbound sales strategy aimed at identifying and acquiring new corporate clients. While supported by a Sales Development Representative (SDR), the Business Growth Manager is expected to effectively generate leads independently to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Sales Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire commercial lifecycle, starting from initial discovery as the dedicated SDR ramps up. Demonstrated expertise in presenting technical solutions, handling complex pricing negotiations, and steering contracts to successful completion is essential.
- Strategic Solutioning: Effectively position payabl.'s multi-currency IBANs, 24/7 foreign exchange, and card issuing services as a comprehensive solution for firms operating in underserved or complex (Medium/High Risk) sectors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate closely with internal Compliance and Risk teams to navigate the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process. Act as the primary commercial advocate for clients during onboarding to ensure an efficient
