Business Support Associates (BSA) are dedicated professionals committed to delivering exceptional customer service to contractors, PMO partners, and internal teams. As the primary point of contact for contractors during the onboarding process, BSAs ensure that all Allegis Global Solutions and client onboarding requirements are meticulously met before candidates commence their assignments. Once on-site, they manage any inquiries, mid-contract changes, extensions, and offboarding processes while ensuring compliance with operational standards. Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, BSAs work collaboratively to achieve the strategic objectives of the business.
In their role, Business Support Associates carry out a variety of background checks and coordinate with third parties to guarantee timely completion. They address and resolve any discrepancies that arise during the onboarding phase and report directly to the Business Support Manager (BSM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Serve as the sole point of contact within the Field Support Group for all contractor inquiries, proactively seeking solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
- Ensure accurate data entry, validation, and integrity of all information within Allegis internal systems.
- Maintain and update contractor records in Allegis internal systems.
- Collaborate with the Time & Expense Associate on the adjustment process, engaging with external stakeholders as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with PMO partners and colleagues in other departments to support the business’s strategic goals.
- Assist the Time and Expense Associate and PMO with ad-hoc reporting as required.
- Understand and apply legislation affecting the business and contractors, managing changes in accordance with legal requirements.
- Provide guidance to PMO and contractors regarding compliance, policies, and any relevant information impacting the business or individuals.
- Conduct candidate background checks, including reference, criminal, education, employment, and credit checks.
- Adhere to internal and client onboarding requirements.
- Issue contracts to candidates following internal and client protocols.
- Audit and manage documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Perform peer audits on compliance packs.
- Participate in periodic internal training sessions focused on compliance and legislation.
- Update contractor onboarding status to PMO regularly.
- Engage in ad hoc projects and additional duties as necessary.
