This essential role is designed to guarantee that our camp’s academic and co-curricular programs meet ALPADIA’s exceptional standards, ensuring quality welfare arrangements for our students while leading our staff by example.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management
Efficiently and respectfully manage all staff members, focusing on their personal development and providing necessary support to ensure they contribute to a high-quality program that aligns with Alpadia’s goals. Conduct daily meetings to enhance performance and communicate important messages. Assist the regional manager with staff performance management, addressing any deficiencies or disciplinary issues.
- Student Management
Safeguard and promote the well-being of all students in our care. Act as the Designated Safeguarding Staff. Manage all students effectively and respectfully, adhering to all Alpadia policies and rules, to ensure they fully engage and contribute to all aspects of the program in a respectful manner towards fellow students and staff. Hold ultimate accountability for student behavior and discipline within the camp.
- Language Program
Collaborate with the Academic Manager to oversee all teachers and/or the Senior Teacher, ensuring Alpadia’s language program provides enjoyable and developmental experiences through high-quality Standard, Intensive, and Individual Courses.
- Activities Program
Work alongside the Activity Manager to supervise all activity leaders and/or the Senior Activity Leader, ensuring that Alpadia’s activities are well-prepared and delivered, including a diverse and engaging Multi-activity, Premium, Evening, and Excursion program for all students.
- Welfare and Health & Safety
Ensure that relevant safeguarding, health, and safety policies are well understood and followed. Manage all staff, including the Night-time Supervisor, to maintain high-quality welfare provisions, ensuring all staff can implement Alpadia’s policies, allowing students to enjoy all aspects of the camp in a safe and inclusive environment. Personally respond to any emergencies that may jeopardize students, staff, or Alpadia’s reputation.
- Communication
Facilitate effective communication with all stakeholders within our camps, ensuring transparency and clarity at all times.
