Join asos as a Cash and Treasury Manager in a newly established role that integrates the Cash and Treasury teams into one cohesive Finance Management position. You will lead a dedicated team tasked with overseeing cash reconciliation activities and treasury management. As the primary contact for fintech teams on new business initiatives, you will ensure thorough user acceptance testing and the smooth incorporation of new revenue and cash feeds.
Your contribution will be vital in promoting operational excellence, advancing process automation, and enhancing controls, all while supporting asos’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The Role
- Lead a team comprising one Senior Financial Accountant, two Financial Accountants, and one Senior Treasury Analyst.
- Oversee the cash reconciliation process, ensuring effective controls and efficient workflows. Responsibilities include managing cash reconciliations, implementing process improvements, and automating the integration between the general ledger and treasury management system (TMS).
- Collaborate with fintech teams on new projects, taking ownership of user acceptance testing to guarantee a successful feed integration.
- Enhance the control environment by working alongside central controls and fintech to develop automated solutions and testing protocols.
- Direct operational Treasury activities through the Senior Treasury Analyst, encompassing daily cash and liquidity management, risk exposure hedging, and mandate management.
- Ensure timely month-end, half-year, and annual reporting to senior management and external auditors.
- Assist the Senior Treasury Manager in executing prudent cash management, foreign exchange hedging, payments, and reporting.
- Promote operational performance improvements across policies, procedures, reporting, and systems.
- Maintain and optimize treasury management systems, banking, and trading portals.
- Foster relationships across departments and with internal and external stakeholders.
- Instill a culture of process excellence and key performance indicators (KPIs), driving efficiencies in manual processes.
