Responsibilities
As a Casual Bus Tour Host, your duties will include:
- Greeting guests warmly as they embark on our tours;
- Providing engaging and informative commentary while interacting with guests;
- Sharing your knowledge of Rottnest Island’s history, geography, culture, flora, and fauna;
- Collaborating with the team to offer feedback and contribute to product development for high-quality experiences;
- Handling administrative tasks such as guest transfers, inquiries, and product upselling;
- Performing other related duties as needed.
Your success will stem from your excellent interpersonal skills, proactive approach to customer service, and commitment to exceeding guest expectations. We seek candidates with prior experience as a tour guide or host in the tourism sector. A current Senior First Aid certification and a Police Clearance Certificate are required, along with a willingness to obtain an Approved Bar Manager Certificate.
This position entails spending prolonged periods on your feet, and flexibility with working hours—including weekends—is essential.
