Join our vibrant team at Cedar Creek State School Helping Hands as a dedicated Casual Educator. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual to help create engaging programs for primary-aged children in our Outside School Hours Care service.
Your role will involve working across split shifts to support our operational hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 8:50 am for the Rise then Shine Program and 2:55 pm to 6:00 pm for the Stay and Play Program.
Role Overview
As part of a collaborative team of Educators, you will receive guidance from a Coordinator to effectively manage before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
- Implement a dynamic child-centered program filled with exciting activities such as STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts, and more!
- Nurture positive relationships with children, their families, and the wider community.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled Educators on-site.
Who We're Seeking
While we can provide training, here are a few essentials we require:
A genuine passion for working with children
Excellent communication skills
A team player eager to develop leadership skills
Willingness to obtain a national police check (we'll cover the cost!) and a state check for working with children
