- As a licensed speech therapist in Illinois, you will ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice set forth by the professional organization.
- This role includes direct patient care, educational responsibilities, and active participation in committees and departmental process improvement initiatives.
- Act as a role model for therapists and clinical interns in professional, clinical, communication, educational, and leadership activities.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and processes.
- Engage in cost-reduction efforts, streamline workflows, and enhance service offerings.
- Employ creative problem-solving methods and adaptability in treatment approaches based on feedback and documentation.
- Exhibit essential competencies in selecting appropriate evaluations and treatment modalities, maintaining adherence to department guidelines.
- Assume full responsibility for patient management from initial contact to discharge, ensuring safety and progress as noted in documentation and team feedback.
- Follow departmental policies regarding evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, documenting all notes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Complete daily documentation as required.
