Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and enhance your designated Vilgain product category and product lines, including developing new products based on specific requirements.
Manage the entire process from the initial brief to the successful product launch.
Source and select appropriate suppliers, manufacturers, ingredients, and packaging while maintaining effective purchasing and supplier relationships.
Analyze market trends and uncover new opportunities for growth.
Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, and procurement to ensure seamless manufacturing operations – overseeing availability, quality, lead times, and supplier capacity; working with marketing to successfully launch products.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in purchasing, preferably with private-label production.
A passion for food and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.
Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to understand processes in context.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple areas simultaneously, from production to procurement.
Keen attention to detail in data, numbers, and processes.
A proactive mindset with a drive to find more efficient solutions.
