Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed team at Slate Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the catheterization lab. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver compassionate and effective nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs and conditions before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about procedures and post-procedure care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond swiftly to emergency situations in the catheterization lab.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting.
- Strong understanding of cardiac procedures and patient management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
