Under the guidance of the Training Center Director and Principal Owner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our specialized curriculum. Your mission? This role demands exceptional training skills, adaptability, and outstanding interpersonal abilities, allowing you to collaborate effectively with management, staff, and students alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction:
- Design and implement instructional activities that promote active learning.
- Prepare the classroom and driving range for educational activities.
- Adhere strictly to the syllabus and lesson plans provided by the Training Center Director while fostering a safe, friendly atmosphere.
- Clearly define and communicate objectives for all learning activities.
- Instruct and supervise students in utilizing learning materials and equipment.
- Leverage technology to enhance instructional delivery.
- Track individual student progress and report findings to the Training Center Director.
- Ensure students achieve all skill and course outcomes outlined in the syllabus.
- Evaluate student performance using both formative and summative techniques.
- Provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Facilitate remediation training as necessary.
- Notify the Training Center Director regarding any student-related concerns, whether behavioral, academic, or personal.
- Enforce classroom and range behavior standards to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Meet all curriculum standards for range instruction, including:
- Conducting Pre-Trip Inspections
- Executing straight line backing, offset backing (driver-side and blind-side), and parallel parking (driver-side and blind-side)
- Shifting a ten-speed transmission
- Maintaining lane centering, performing lane changes, and freeway driving
- Executing right and left turns, including navigating tight situations and multiple-lane turns
- Demonstrating hazard perception, visual search, and sign recognition
Record Keeping:
- Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and development.
- Ensure all records are updated accurately and in compliance with laws and training center regulations.
- Manage student attendance records and ensure proper sign-in/out procedures.
- Keep the Training Center Director informed of student progress through both verbal and written communication.
Additional Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment, trucks, classrooms, and training grounds.
