Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Certified Incident Investigator with 7 to 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in executing comprehensive incident investigations and a keen ability to prepare precise reports for safety departments across Gulf countries. This role demands extensive knowledge of incident investigation methodologies, including root cause analysis and adherence to regulatory reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in-depth investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses within the oil and gas field.
Draft thorough investigation reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to safety departments, particularly in Gulf nations.
Partner with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to formulate corrective actions and prevent future occurrences.
Evaluate investigation results to discern patterns and highlight areas for enhancement.
Guarantee compliance with local and international safety standards during investigations.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in incident investigation within the oil and gas industry.
Mandatory certification in incident investigation methodologies (e.g., TapRooT®, ICAM, RCA).
In-depth understanding of incident reporting protocols for Gulf nations.
Exceptional report writing and analytical capabilities.
Acquainted with HSE regulations and best practices pertinent to the oil and gas sector.
