About the role
In this pivotal position, you will operate primarily through video conferencing as a Certified Medical Assistant, providing vital administrative support within a healthcare office environment. You will collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team and receive support from the Shared Services Manager. Your key responsibility will be to assist the clinical staff with administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities
Respond to calls and direct all incoming communications to the appropriate staff
Request and obtain patient records
Communicate with external providers as needed
Actively participate in the Interdisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication of care coordination activities
Provide assistance to patients and team members in utilizing video conferencing technology
Maintain updated patient health records in the Electronic Medical Record system and Vynca data systems
Schedule home visits and video consultations for the clinical team
Prepare new patient information packets
Assist with TARS/Authorizations and liaise with pharmacies
Coordinate transportation for patient medical appointments with contracted transportation services and payers
Support the efficient day-to-day operations of the office
Monitor and request office supply orders as necessary
Your qualifications
Current CMA/CCMA certification from an accredited organization
At least 18 months of clinical experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare office setting
