Join the dedicated team at ARAA Home Care LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), or Home Health Aide (HHA) specializing in bowel care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional patient care with compassion and professionalism.
Respond promptly to patient calls, assessing their needs and providing appropriate assistance.
Support patients with daily living activities including toileting, ambulation, exercise, and meal assistance.
Collect comprehensive information from healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions, treatment plans, and recommended activities.
Adhere to client service plans, documenting any changes in patient conditions.
Ensure dietary needs are met by monitoring food allergies, preferences, and restrictions.
Track and report intake of food and liquids, as well as urinary and fecal output, to the nursing staff.
Record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate as required.
Assist with patient mobility, including turning and repositioning bedridden individuals.
Monitor patients for any medical issues, reporting noticeable changes such as wounds or unusual symptoms.
Remind patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements.
Document patient behaviors and symptoms, reporting observations to nursing staff.
Stay current with CNA/PCA/HHA training and agency policies.
Maintain home safety and sanitation, focusing on infection control measures.
Experience in bowel care is essential, including techniques to facilitate regular bowel movements.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, or every other weekend from 4 PM to 7 PM.
