PRIMARY PURPOSE
Your role as a Pharmacy Technician is vital in our mission to promote health and wellness in the communities we serve. You will be responsible for filling prescriptions, assisting customers, unpacking supplies, answering phone calls, and addressing inquiries within established guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Begin your shift by reviewing the work schedule, checking equipment, and ensuring supplies are stocked to carry out your duties effectively while adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols.
- Manage incoming supplies, including unpacking totes and organizing items on shelves.
- Maintain cleanliness of shelving, monitor inventory levels, and check product expiration dates.
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage telephone inquiries.
- Verify customer identification for medications when necessary.
- Complete the prescription filling process, which involves data entry and dispensing medications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Meet minimum state age requirements.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to fulfill job responsibilities and comply with safety regulations.
- Complete the introductory 60-day probationary period.
- Meet physical and ergonomic requirements for the position.
- Willingness to use, or learn to operate, necessary equipment and tools.
