The Channel Deal Desk team plays a pivotal role in enhancing and protecting the commercial integrity of partner-sourced transactions throughout the organization. Our primary mission is to ensure that all deals are structured efficiently, approved promptly, and align fully with internal policies as well as external regulations, all through a streamlined process. This position offers extensive sales administration support to Channel Managers for all partner-sourced and channel-managed opportunities, while also extending assistance to other Global GTM opportunities within the Deal Desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the preparation and submission of Deal Approval Requests (DARs) for proposals and contracts.
- Verify that all essential documentation (contracts, pricing, provisioning requests) is complete and attached to the Business Opportunity (BO) in the CRM system.
- Track the progress of deals through the Deal Approval System and escalate any delays or missing inputs to Regional Channel Leaders.
- Implement compliance standards such as SOX and ASC 606 in all deal documentation.
- Support the automated approval routing process by confirming conditions (e.g., geography, license type, discount thresholds).
- Collaborate with partner leadership, sales, finance, legal, and product teams to gather necessary inputs for non-standard deal structures.
- Maintain awareness of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure that deals are processed within expected timelines.
- Monitor and report on deal desk metrics, including approval turnaround times and the volume of deal types (add-ons, call-offs, proposals, contracts).
- Share insights and reports with Channel Leadership.
- Availability during the business hours of the supported region is expected.
