About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Chefs to join the Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions team. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences on board our trains, ensuring that our fine dining menus are prepared and presented with the highest standards of quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Crafting unique and delectable menus that prioritize guest satisfaction.
- Managing stock levels and inventory accurately.
- Ensuring hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in food preparation areas.
- Adhering to HACCP compliance regulations.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for culinary arts and exceptional service, with a commitment to going above and beyond to enhance guest experiences. Successful candidates will possess:
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dynamic culinary setting.
- A current Senior First Aid certificate (or a willingness to obtain one).
- This is a permanent role based on board our trains.
