ABOUT THE ROLE
The Chief Engineer of Fury Production will spearhead the production engineering strategy and execution for complex aircraft systems. You will be responsible for defining and enhancing production architectures, leading initiatives for manufacturability improvements, collaborating with suppliers to tackle manufacturing challenges, and guiding teams focused on cost efficiency, manufacturing yield, and scalable production processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Establishing the technical vision and execution roadmap for production engineering within a major aircraft hardware initiative.
- Implementing producibility enhancements that increase yield, shorten cycle times, and reduce unit costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.
- Leading and mentoring diverse production engineering teams, including those focused on manufacturing integration, tooling development, process engineering, quality assurance, and supplier relations.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders — systems engineering, design, supply chain, and program management to ensure design decisions support manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
- Serving as the primary engineering liaison to strategic suppliers, working collectively to identify challenges, refine processes, and enact production enhancements.
- Supervising the development and optimization of production tooling, automation technologies, and inspection/test methodologies.
- Communicating production readiness, engineering risks, and improvement strategies to senior leadership.
