Role Overview
As the Chief Executive Officer of Professional Services, you will collaborate with a hands-on executive team to spearhead the growth and operational excellence of Toptal. Your approach will be that of an engineer, focusing on solving operational challenges effectively rather than merely providing consultancy. You will be responsible for architecting solutions to both significant and minor problems, developing frameworks that push the boundaries of technology and talent acquisition, and implementing those solutions on a large scale.
You will oversee the complete execution of Toptal’s professional services, managing all related areas including Delivery and Practice. You will be accountable for formulating the strategy for Toptal’s service lines, which encompass Technology Services, Management Consulting, and Marketing Agency.
This position requires a builder’s mentality and a strong sense of ownership. You will establish operational frameworks and strategies, ensure functions are fully developed and operational, and drive consistent execution across all service and talent domains at Toptal. Acting as the owner of the operational system, you will work closely with Product and Data Engineering teams to design infrastructure and features that model supply-demand scenarios, exposing planning logic via modular, API-like interfaces. This will allow Toptal's teams to engage with talent as if it were a service. Collaborating with a high-caliber leadership team, you will deliver outstanding client outcomes and foster sustainable growth through strong operational discipline and strategic clarity.
