Compensation: INR 8,000,000 - 10,000,000 per annum (INR 80-100 LPA)
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, tasked with influencing the financial strategy, governance framework, and long-term value generation for a large-scale retail enterprise in the gems and jewellery industry. Based in Surat, this role holds significant sway at the Board and Promoter levels and is crucial to the organization’s forthcoming growth phase and institutional transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Board and Promoters to define the long-term financial and business strategy.
- Lead comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation across the enterprise.
- Ensure precise, timely, and transparent financial reporting and Management Information Systems (MIS) for senior stakeholders.
- Drive IPO readiness, focusing on financial structuring, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
- Manage relationships with auditors, investors, merchant bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Enhance governance, internal controls, and ethical financial practices organization-wide.
- Oversee bullion and metal financing structures, including Gold Metal Loan (GML) arrangements.
- Develop and implement hedging strategies to mitigate gold price and market volatility.
- Conduct financial reviews of margins, costs, and supply chains to improve profitability and capital efficiency.
- Identify and address financial, macroeconomic, and industry risks by establishing comprehensive mitigation strategies.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance leadership team.
- Promote a cultural shift towards accountability, transparency, and institutional excellence.
