Join ennovationHUB, a rapidly expanding international e-commerce organization specializing in the home & living sector, particularly in furniture. With operational hubs in Belgrade and London, we cater to a diverse customer base across the UK, North America, the EU, and APAC.
As we strive to reach over €100 million in annual revenue by 2026, we are in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will be the CEO’s trusted partner in our founder-led environment and oversee the execution of strategies throughout the organization. (This role is being advertised in multiple locations to attract a wider candidate pool.)
This position deviates from the conventional COO role; it’s not about managing a singular department but collaborating with a select group of senior leaders across Commercial, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will ensure that our company operates efficiently and moves forward cohesively. Given the dynamic nature of our industry, you should be adept at adapting quickly and embracing significant change.
The CEO will concentrate on growth, product development, and strategic direction, while your primary responsibility will be to ensure that objectives are met, priorities are clearly defined, teams are aligned, and actions are executed effectively. Our organizational structure is intentionally intricate, encompassing multiple legal entities, warehouses, partners, and markets; your mission will be to execute this complexity proficiently rather than simplify it. Enhancing customer experience and operational performance will be crucial as we grow.
Your Responsibilities:
- Facilitate execution across the organization by collaborating with existing senior leaders.
- Provide structure, clarity, and prioritization across teams.
- Align talented individuals with diverse perspectives and ensure decisions are actionable.
- Guarantee that necessary tasks are accomplished without unnecessary complexity.
- Support the company’s scaling efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO to ensure systems are understood and implemented across the organization.
- Introduce appropriate levels of process and structure without hindering business agility.
Key Context:
You will not be required to build everything from the ground up, nor will you be expected to be the sole reason for the company’s growth. Instead, you will play a pivotal role in the transition, assisting the organization in advancing from its current stage to the next by enhancing our operations, communication, and execution.
You will collaborate with experienced and knowledgeable professionals who excel in their respective fields. Your role will focus on alignment, support, and elevating collaboration rather than replacement.
