About the job
The St. Willibrord-Spital in Emmerich is a cornerstone of healthcare in the Lower Rhine region. With 271 beds, seven specialized departments, and eight medical centers, we provide our patients with modern and comprehensive care of the highest standard, both inpatient and outpatient. Annually, we treat approximately 9,000 inpatients and 18,000 outpatients.
Our dedicated team of around 480 staff members combines medical excellence with compassionate care and personal attention. We are particularly committed to the compatibility of family and work, offering flexible working time models and numerous additional support services to optimally consider the individual circumstances of our employees.
In the entire surgical department, more than 3,700 patients are treated yearly in the specialties of trauma surgery, arthroscopy, and sports orthopedics, as well as in the endoprosthetics and foot center. The spine center specializes in treating acute and chronic conditions as well as injuries of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, performing 800 to 1,000 spinal surgeries each year. The trauma surgery department operates a large emergency outpatient clinic and ensures inpatient and outpatient care by D-physicians. Together with the geriatrics department, we maintain a geriatric trauma center. Our state-of-the-art technical equipment, including digital X-ray diagnostics, CT, and MRI, as well as a modern physiotherapy department, occupational therapy, and cooperating orthopedic workshops, ensure an optimal diagnosis and treatment process.
We look forward to welcoming committed colleagues who wish to enrich our team and make a significant contribution to surgical medicine!
