Position Overview
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as a Childcare Center Director or in a similar leadership role, with a minimum of 3 years in a childcare setting. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about early childhood education, highly organized, a proactive problem solver, and a team builder. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential, along with a genuine love for working with children.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of center operations, including staffing, curriculum development, enrollment, and tuition management, including compliance with CACFP food paperwork and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations governing childcare centers.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to cultivate a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
- Foster positive relationships with families and the broader community.
- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to enhance the center's outreach and impact.
- Lead staff meetings, providing continuous training and support to teachers and staff.
- Work with the leadership team to formulate and implement strategic plans for the center.
- Monitor and document student progress, evaluate teaching methods, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Implement best practices in early childhood education, including curriculum design, assessment, and staff development.
