Your Responsibilities
No two days are the same! As a Children's Support Worker, you will:
• Deliver trauma-informed care to ensure the safety and support of young people
• Foster strong, positive, and trusting relationships
• Encourage healthy routines and essential life skills
• Assist with educational support, meal preparation, and accompany children to appointments
• Advocate for their voice — ensuring they feel heard and valued
• Provide transportation for young people to activities or appointments using your own vehicle
• Support them in moving forward with hope and confidence
What We Seek
Experience in working with children or young people (either paid or voluntary)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
Flexibility in working varied shifts - this is an agency role!
A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory — comprehensive training will be provided.
