What Your Day Will Entail:
No two days are alike, but you can expect to:
- Deliver trauma-informed care that ensures the safety and well-being of young individuals.
- Forge meaningful connections and encourage healthy routines.
- Assist with meal preparation, educational support, and the development of essential life skills.
- Advocate for children's voices, ensuring they feel valued and heard.
- Facilitate medical appointments and community engagement activities.
- Utilize your own vehicle for transportation as required.
- Empower children to transition confidently into their next life chapter.
What We Seek:
Experience in working with children or young people (paid or voluntary)
A valid UK driver’s licence and your own vehicle
Attributes of patience, empathy, and emotional resilience
A flexible approach (availability for waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins)
A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
While a relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care) is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
Your Rewards:
Competitive Pay:
£17.50 to £24.00 per hour (PAYE Rate, inclusive of holiday pay)
£20.00 to £28.00 per hour (Umbrella Rate)
