Are you eager to influence the advancement of water infrastructure? Our dynamic, multidisciplinary Water team in the North & Midlands is seeking a Civil Engineer to become part of our expanding workforce.
Our team is involved in prominent, industry-leading infrastructure projects both in the UK and globally. We are engaged in a range of significant assignments for water and sewerage authorities, local and national governments, and various clients. As a member of our thriving business, you will tackle rewarding multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion, crafting innovative solutions that enhance the environment and benefit communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with teams of engineers, hydraulic modellers, environmental scientists, and technical specialists to deliver impactful solutions for the communities we serve, contributing to technical work, site work, and project management.
- Conducting technical and feasibility studies to evaluate practical and buildable solutions for potable water, foul water, surface water, and attenuation needs, including detailed calculations and integration with other disciplines.
- Participating in all design stages, including feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs, and preparing reports and technical specifications.
- Performing numerical analyses using advanced software tools to assess potable, surface, and wastewater systems.
- Designing water infrastructure, such as treatment plants, pump systems, and pipe networks, focusing on safety in design through the preparation of Designer’s Risk Assessments and working closely with technicians to produce detailed working drawings.
- Acquiring valuable on-site experience through site visits and project implementation, enhancing your understanding of how designs translate into real-world applications.
