Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure personal and team health and safety at all times.
- Conduct safety checks and inspections on vehicles, machinery, and work sites as directed.
- Execute all work with a strong commitment to environmental standards: safeguard water supplies, maintain cleanliness, prevent spills, minimize public disturbance, protect trees, and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Safely excavate holes while avoiding damage to underground utilities.
- Handle materials, equipment, and machinery appropriately.
- Drive company vehicles safely and in compliance with the Road Traffic Act.
- Operate mobile equipment for authorized business purposes.
- Keep work sites, vehicles, and equipment organized and secure.
- Install and maintain road works in accordance with ‘Chapter 8’ standards.
- Assist clients, public members, and officials regarding company operations.
- Maintain comprehensive safety, environmental, and quality records.
- Report accidents, near misses, faults, and defects using the correct documentation.
- Follow any additional reasonable instructions from management.
