Role Overview
This role is essential in supporting the USG Sales team to identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the U.S. government sector. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in space systems development and sales, particularly within the Intelligence and National Security Space sectors. Responsibilities include direct interaction with government program managers, senior decision-makers, industry partners, and stakeholder associations. The role requires collaboration with Astranis's senior management, program management, engineering, operations, and legal teams, reporting directly to the Senior Director of USG Sales and Solutions Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster relationships and engage with Astranis customers and partners in the Intelligence and National Security Space sectors.
- Create supporting materials for customer interactions, including talking papers, briefings, and content that aligns Astranis capabilities with USG national space strategies.
- Lead and assist in proposal activities, acting as capture manager, proposal manager, or volume lead for USG responses and RFIs.
- Enhance awareness of Astranis solutions by identifying key decision-makers in Intelligence and National Security Space organizations.
- Monitor USG programs of interest, including budget allocations, Congressional actions, industry participation, and technical requirements.
