About the job
- Safely drive and operate power equipment and vehicles following DOT regulations and company policies on public roads and private properties.
- Set up and manage necessary equipment in compliance with operational training and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Work safely in environments with heavy machinery, including loud and hazardous conditions.
- Manually clean, install, and repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other equipment.
- Transport trucks to designated locations and operate equipment for loading and unloading materials.
- Prepare delivery tickets for customers and obtain necessary signatures.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and products transported.
- Document vehicle logs and cargo records as per state and federal regulations.
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle condition reports (DVIR).
- Maintain communication with supervisors regarding delivery instructions.
- Read maps and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to travel for extended durations.
- Possession of a valid Class B commercial driver's license and a clean DOT driving record.
- Availability to respond to calls 24/7 as needed.
- Capability to perform tasks in alignment with training and standard operating procedures.
