About the job
Purpose:
- As a Client Consulting Manager, your primary goal will be to support and implement strategic initiatives that enhance acquisition, activation, engagement, and incremental spending across credit and debit card portfolios.
- You will leverage your expertise in cards portfolio optimization, customer lifecycle management (CLM), and campaign management (design and targeting), ensuring compliance with industry regulations and card-network guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy and Performance:
- Formulate and enhance comprehensive strategies aimed at improving key performance indicators (KPIs) including acquisition, activation, user engagement, spending per active user, retention, cross-selling, up-selling, attrition reduction, credit loss management, and return on investment (ROI).
- Analyze performance metrics to identify key drivers and recommend targeted interventions tailored to specific customer segments.
Customer Lifecycle Management:
- Craft customer journeys encompassing onboarding, early engagement, habituation, maturation, retention, and win-back strategies, while defining treatments and testing plans (including A/B and multivariate testing).
- Pinpoint friction points and opportunities to enhance first-use, repeat usage, and long-term engagement across digital platforms and partner or merchant channels.
Campaign Strategy, Design, and Execution:
- Translate portfolio objectives into actionable campaign strategies, including offer structures, eligibility criteria, targeting guidelines, suppression logic, and measurement frameworks.
Insights, Analytics, and Forecasting:
- Assist in analytics to size opportunities and forecast impacts (such as propensity, uplift, customer lifetime value, attrition rates, and spending elasticities), while promoting a disciplined test-and-learn roadmap.
- Create clear documentation and executive-ready presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Thought Leadership and Team Contribution:
- Stay updated on market trends (including rewards, interchange rates, merchant offers, embedded finance, tokenization, buy now pay later (BNPL), and digital wallets) and recommend strategic portfolio interventions.
