Cancer Care Pharmacy Clinical Manager
As the Cancer Care Pharmacy Clinical Manager at The University of Kansas Health System, you will take on a vital leadership role within the Department of Pharmacy. Your expertise will guide a dedicated team in the effective management of daily pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care in clinical settings. Reporting to the Pharmacy Assistant Director or the Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee essential aspects of pharmacy operations and personnel management, contributing significantly to the department's operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Identify and implement enhancements to pharmacy services in alignment with organizational goals, spearheading performance improvement initiatives to optimize systems, processes, and policies.
- Act as an ambassador for the organization's vision, effectively communicating departmental goals and facilitating understanding among diverse audiences.
- Exhibit excellence in personnel management by recognizing team members' strengths and facilitating their professional development.
- Utilize financial tools to analyze departmental performance and support the achievement of both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Inspire collaboration within and between teams to achieve common goals.
- Contribute to projects that may lead to publications or presentations at pharmacy association meetings.
- Support pharmacy residency programs, mentoring students and interns through organized rotations, providing feedback, and collaborating on training initiatives.
