JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to join our Oncology Center team at Stanford Medicine Children's Health. This role involves practicing as a full partner within the healthcare team, ensuring safe and effective nursing practices aligned with our organizational professional model.
The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through the nursing process while maintaining accountability for the care of assigned patients, from infancy to adulthood. This position emphasizes the importance of patient and family-centered care, evidence-based practice, and collaborative teamwork.
As a Clinical Nurse II, you will work closely with an inter-professional healthcare team to coordinate care and focus on individualizing patient care based on a variety of factors, including cultural and psychosocial considerations. You will also seek and provide feedback to enhance clinical practices and contribute to achieving the organizational mission and goals.
Compliance with all regulatory standards and participation in ongoing education is essential in this role.
