You will be instrumental in connecting with all inpatient units and outpatient clinics at the University Centre, enhancing clinical quality initiatives, and participating in innovative program developments. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinical teams proactively in resolving patient care issues and addressing clinical concerns.
- Ensure clinical interventions conform to best practices.
- Support educational initiatives, student mentorship, and research activities.
- Offer expertise in managing medically and behaviorally complex cases.
- Conduct assessments for patients with complex behavioral or medical issues, including those related to strokes or acquired brain injuries.
- Empower inter-professional care teams in developing assessment skills and patient care plans while providing support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with wound care experts to manage patient wound and skin concerns.
- Enhance staff capacity in managing chronic and acute medical, neurological, and behavioral challenges.
- Consult with other specialty services as required.
