The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical activities of our dedicated field staff. This position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans to ensure they meet the unique needs of each patient. The Clinical Supervisor will facilitate team conferences and share the responsibility of assessing clinical case management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that initial in-home evaluations for patients requiring nursing services are conducted by a registered nurse.
2. Uphold compliance with all Federal, State, Local regulations, accreditation standards, and Maxim Healthcare policies.
3. Assess and supervise the delivery of nursing services to maintain high standards of care.
4. Prepare and coordinate clinical and progress notes accurately.
5. Provide in-home supervision of nursing services delivered by licensed nurses, home health aides, and other nursing support staff.
6. Communicate any changes in patients’ medical or mental conditions to the attending physician and the Director of Clinical Services promptly.
7. Educate and support patients and their families to promote optimal health recovery.
8. Participate in the ongoing review of services and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
