About the Role
We are collaborating with a dynamic French IT services group known for its specialization in cloud transformation and managed services. This organization supports mid-sized and large enterprises in various sectors by designing, migrating, optimizing, and managing modern cloud infrastructures. With multiple locations across France and strong multi-cloud proficiency, they offer a blend of strategic consulting, cloud engineering, automation, observability, and 24/7 managed operations to ensure secure, scalable, and sustainable IT environments.
As a Cloud Operations Engineer (Level 2+), you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining multi-cloud public infrastructure environments for enterprise clients. You will operate within a structured ITIL framework and actively contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2+ technical support across multi-cloud public environments (AWS, GCP, OCI, OVH, and occasionally Azure)
- Manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools in alignment with ITIL processes
- Operate and maintain Linux-based cloud infrastructures
- Conduct daily operational tasks (monitoring, backups, patching, health checks)
- Diagnose and resolve IaaS/PaaS infrastructure incidents
- Update and enhance technical documentation and knowledge bases
- Advocate for cloud security and operational best practices
- Participate in technical committees and client steering meetings
- Collaborate with project teams during deployment and evolution phases
- Contribute to cloud advisory and expertise projects
- Stay informed about emerging cloud technologies and share knowledge internally
Requirements
- Engineering degree (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud operations or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux in cloud-hosted environments
- Familiarity with multi-cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP, OCI, OVH, Azure)
- Understanding of ITIL-based service management practices
