FutureSight is on the lookout for an innovative and experienced Founding CEO to spearhead the launch of a groundbreaking AI Sales platform tailored specifically for sales representatives in wholesale distribution.
In the rapidly evolving landscape of industrial wholesale distribution, particularly within the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing sectors, companies are facing a significant challenge. The retirement of seasoned sales representatives, who possess invaluable product knowledge, results in a loss of productivity ranging from 6 to 12 months per departure. Simultaneously, the manual quoting processes can extend from hours to days, making speed a critical factor in securing deals. Alarmingly, distributors are rejecting 80% of Request for Proposals (RFPs) due to capacity limitations, as they struggle to manage extensive SKU catalogs exceeding 100,000 items and cannot hire staff quickly enough. This sector boasts a total addressable market (TAM) of $2 billion, growing at an impressive rate of 25-30% annually, yet lacks a dominant player in the field.
The solution lies in an advanced AI assistant that streamlines the entire distributor sales workflow, encompassing inside sales, outside sales, commercial quoting, and counter sales. This innovative platform drastically reduces time taken for quote generation from hours to mere seconds, automates the processing of RFQs through seamless ERP integration, and transforms contractor takeoffs into precise quotes. It also provides AI support for point-of-sale operations at counters, captures institutional expertise within the system, and offers real-time cross-selling intelligence, all as part of a unified platform that enhances the front-office sales workflow.
As the Founding CEO, you will:
- Drive customer acquisition — Execute pilots, define pricing strategies, and validate customer retention and expansion efforts.
- Develop the product — Collaborate with FutureSight’s product and engineering teams to launch Version 1 of the platform.
- Secure funding — Lead the seed funding round with our initial investment efforts.
- Assemble your team — Recruit your founding team and establish a strong cultural foundation.
