We offer strategic counsel to all teams within Brex, safeguarding the company, advising on risk management, and representing Brex in negotiations with partners and regulators. What you’ll do
As a Commercial Counsel at Brex, you will be an integral part of the Legal team, focusing on supporting and negotiating revenue-generating agreements that empower our sales, partnerships, and go-to-market teams. You will also handle inbound vendor and procurement agreements, ensuring operational efficiency and security across the organization. You will manage a substantial volume of commercial transactions, driving deal velocity while carefully assessing risk in a complex fintech landscape. Your role will involve providing clear and practical legal guidance on issues arising in commercial transactions and working closely with teams across sales, deal desk, partnerships, privacy, procurement, security, product, and engineering. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of Brex’s commercial legal resources, including playbooks, templates, policies, and workflows that promote consistency and support scalable growth. Throughout your work, you will balance risk management with business objectives, serving as a trusted partner to the business.
