Following our successful $75 million Series C funding, we are seeking a dynamic Commercial Director to lead our sales team. In this pivotal role, you will guide a talented group of Account Executives and engage with diverse businesses, from leading manufacturers to rapidly growing tech firms and global retailers.
As the Commercial Director, you will inspire and manage the enterprise sales team to exceed performance targets and deliver outstanding results. You will oversee the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, proof-of-value (POV) deployment, proposal crafting, negotiations, and closing deals. A key aspect of your role will involve strategizing and executing comprehensive sales initiatives that align with Luminance's overarching business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership - Mentor and develop individual Account Executives; assist in recruitment and onboarding to foster a high-performing team.
- Sales Strategy - Analyze market trends, competitive insights, and customer needs to propel sales growth.
- Process Optimization - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective delivery of Luminance's technology; identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Forecasting and Reporting - Provide precise sales forecasts and pipeline reports to senior management, monitoring sales performance and implementing adjustments as necessary.
