Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and meticulous Commercial HVAC Technician to provide post-installation support to our customers. This role will entail the start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that the systems operate as designed, are energy-efficient, and meet the clients' expectations for comfort and reliability.
This position requires travel of 5% to 15%, primarily within the Spokane and Central Washington areas, potentially including overnight stays. All travel expenses will be reimbursed per company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the start-up and commissioning of newly installed HVAC systems, ensuring correct operation and settings.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to enhance system longevity and efficiency.
- Diagnose and rectify HVAC equipment issues, including electrical faults, refrigerant leaks, and airflow problems.
- Verify the proper functioning of control systems and safety devices.
- Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to swiftly resolve post-installation challenges.
- Document all service activities, including test results, parts utilized, and system adjustments.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding system performance, suggested improvements, and service requirements.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company protocols.
- Engage in ongoing training to remain updated on HVAC technologies, diagnostic tools, and energy efficiency practices.
