As the Commercial Manager for Teamsport, you will take the helm in providing strategic direction and overseeing tactical initiatives aimed at enhancing profitable sales growth and achieving sales objectives in the professional sports and entertainment sectors. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to devise effective sales strategies and initiatives that align with our annual operating plans, amplify brand visibility, and foster sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and mentor teams to effectively communicate and deliver Avery Dennison’s unique value proposition, positioning us as market leaders within the teamsport segment.
- Build and sustain relationships with senior executives at customer accounts while facilitating senior-level engagements.
- Conduct regular analyses of sales data to uncover opportunities for growth, identify areas for enhancement, and optimize efficiency across the sales force.
- Track competitor activities, kit sponsorship trends, and grassroots participation rates to pinpoint new business avenues.
- Oversee P&L responsibilities, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and meeting ambitious annual turnover goals.
- Serve as a key subject matter expert to your team and other leadership members, offering insights and guidance.
- Design and implement a comprehensive multi-year commercial strategy aimed at increasing market share within the teamsport sector.
