About the Role:
As a Commercial Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful outcomes for Motive’s commercial customers and prospects. Collaborating closely with offshore Account Executives, you will help shape deal strategies, deliver customized product demonstrations, and serve as a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business insight, and excellent communication skills, enabling you to align customer challenges with Motive’s solutions and influence purchasing decisions. Reporting directly to the Manager of Commercial Solutions Engineering, you will work across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to fulfill customer needs while directly contributing to Motive’s growth and success.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with our offshore Commercial Account Executive team to enhance deal strategies, facilitate discovery conversations, and present tailored product demonstrations that aid customer decision-making.
- Travel to customer sites for trial kickoffs and demonstrations as needed (approximately 40% of the time) within the UK.
- Demonstrate Motive’s value by customizing presentations that resonate with technical, operational, and business audiences, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to commercial customers.
- Convert customer challenges into clear, actionable solutions that yield measurable business outcomes.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape, assisting Commercial AEs with displacement and growth opportunities.
- Establish yourself as a product expert—mastering the current platform while engaging in discussions regarding future innovations.
- Collaborate on RFIs and RFPs to position Motive as the preferred partner for commercial organizations.
