In the position of Commissioning Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring our fire curtain systems are correctly commissioned on-site, adhering to all specifications. You will collaborate closely with installation teams, project managers, and clients to conduct final checks, perform functional testing, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise prior to handover. A solid understanding of control systems, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass:
Final commissioning of fire curtain systems on-site.
Conducting functional testing and system configuration according to drawings and specifications.
Identifying and rectifying faults during commissioning, collaborating with the broader team as required.
Completing necessary commissioning documentation while maintaining accurate records.
Engaging with clients, contractors, and project teams to fulfill system handover requirements.
Offering technical support and guidance throughout the commissioning process.
Delivering effective training to clients to ensure a thorough understanding of system operation and maintenance.
Participating in cause and effect testing to ensure all faults are addressed, contributing to a successful handover.
Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines and support multiple projects as needed.
Occasionally assisting with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting when necessary.
