Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans that foster essential life skills in a nurturing and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help children achieve their individual goals.
- Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, emphasizing skills acquisition, behavior modification, and communication enhancement.
- Document therapy session data meticulously to track progress and inform treatment evaluations.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors and encourage positive change.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Educate parents and caregivers in ABA techniques to support skill generalization beyond therapy sessions.
- Maintain organized session notes, progress reports, and other documentation.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during therapy, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Stay updated with best practices in ABA therapy through continuous professional development.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, including daily cleaning and preparation for therapy sessions.
