About the Role
Join Windwatch Behavioral Services, a part of the Finni Health family, as a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in Setauket, New York. In this fulfilling role, you will provide one-on-one support to children in their homes, applying Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to foster meaningful developments in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement in-home ABA therapy sessions for children
- Adhere to behavior intervention plans crafted by a BCBA
- Accurately gather and document client progress and behavioral data
- Engage in regular supervision sessions with a BCBA
- Attend mandatory team meetings and ongoing training programs

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with children is essential
- A genuine passion for assisting children with special needs
- Reliable transportation is a must
- Active CPR certification is required
- RBT certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it within a specified timeframe
Physical Requirements
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to kneel, squat, crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable participating in play and physical activities with children
