KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engaging clients through meaningful companionship and conversation.
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Performing light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and changing linens.
- Helping clients with wardrobe selection and dressing assistance.
- Planning and preparing nutritious meals tailored to client preferences.
- Providing reminders for medication schedules.
- Transporting clients to and from appointments when necessary.
- Educating family members on safe care techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
- Ability to follow and interpret client care plans effectively.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
- Comfort with small pets, such as dogs and/or cats.
- Availability via phone or email for scheduling and emergencies.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Previous experience with dementia patients and in senior care is a plus!
