What Will You Do?
As a Night Caregiver (Verzorgende IG) in the rehabilitation department, you are a crucial link in the care for our rehabilitation clients. You will work independently in a calm environment with 30 beds, where you are responsible for night care. This entails responding to client calls for assistance, such as for bathroom needs, and performing nursing tasks appropriate to your VIG level.
Additionally, you will monitor through cameras, administer medication as needed, and prepare admission kits for new clients. This ensures a smooth handover to the daytime staff. In case of an emergency, you will be the one to act immediately and can always consult with the Evening, Night, and Weekend Coordinator (ANWC) to escalate the situation if necessary.
Although you work independently, you are part of a larger team of approximately 40 colleagues at Ervenstaete.
