As a Competency Program Development Manager at Xcellink, you will spearhead the growth, design, and execution of the XODA Training Academy’s initiatives. Our mission is to cultivate a robust pipeline of skilled talent and establish the academy as a trusted ally in the industry. You will be instrumental in crafting, promoting, and overseeing innovative traineeship programs that address the expanding technical talent gap. Your leadership will drive initiatives that foster future-ready skill sets in critical technology sectors while enhancing our ecosystem through the development of both internal and external competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Growth
- Formulate and implement strategies to advance the Training Academy as a prominent commercial and strategic entity.
- Promote and position traineeship and training programs as effective solutions for industry partners to build internal competencies and tackle talent shortages.
- Identify new markets and partnership opportunities to broaden the Academy’s influence and effectiveness.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to secure program sponsorships, training engagements, and career pathways for trainees.
2. Program Management
- Direct the design and execution of comprehensive training and talent programs, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and business goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of the academy, including scheduling, resource allocation, budget management, and quality assurance.
- Monitor and report on essential performance metrics such as placement rates, client satisfaction, and revenue growth.
- Continuously enhance program offerings to remain aligned with industry demands and technological advancements.
3. Trainee Engagement and Support
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and development of trainees, ensuring a premium experience and successful career transitions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to trainees throughout their learning journey, collaborating closely with trainers, mentors, and hiring partners.
- Track trainee progress and proactively address challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
4. Curriculum and Program Development
- Design and implement competency-based learning pathways focused on in-demand technical skills and industry standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and partners to develop relevant, current training content.
- Ensure the academy’s curriculum remains adaptable to evolving workforce trends and technological innovations.
5. Data-Driven Strategy
- Leverage data and insights to evaluate program performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
- Regularly provide reports and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis.
