The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is dedicated to collaboratively preventing homelessness and creating sustainable solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals across Colorado. Our mission includes advocating for and providing a comprehensive range of housing and services to enhance the health, well-being, and stability of those we serve.
Our Service Philosophy: We uphold the belief that everyone deserves access to adequate housing and healthcare. By dismantling barriers to these basic rights, we foster societal benefits through inclusive access to housing and health services. We strive to create enduring solutions to homelessness by:
· Respecting the inherent dignity of those we assist, recognizing their strengths, and nurturing their hopes for a better future.
· Fostering resilient, compassionate, and trauma-informed communities by integrating housing, healthcare, and supportive services.
· Advocating for social and racial equity, inclusion, and diversity while challenging the status quo in partnership with our workforce and those we support.
· Pursuing excellence through continuous quality assurance, innovation, and professional development.
· Utilizing resources effectively and judiciously.
The Compliance and Risk Management Specialist, as a vital member of the Quality Improvement & Assurance team, will spearhead initiatives to track, interpret, and implement state, federal, and local healthcare regulations that influence CCH’s integrated health services, particularly focusing on the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) licensure and associated requirements. This role encompasses the development and updating of relevant policies and procedures, conducting audits and training, and communicating regulatory requirements across departments to ensure alignment with changing standards. By merging regulatory knowledge with proactive monitoring, analysis, and staff support, the Specialist will uphold compliance, reduce risk, and foster a culture of integrity, patient safety, and high-quality care in line with CCH’s mission.
