Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated and innovative individuals who are enthusiastic about enhancing the Ethereum protocol through rigorous testing. As a member of the EF Testing Team, you will engage with fellow testers, dev operators, client developers, and protocol researchers to ensure that protocol upgrades undergo comprehensive and efficient testing.
In your role as a Protocol Tester, you will leverage your technical skills to refine testing methodologies, develop tests for both new and existing protocol features, and enhance our testing infrastructure. This position requires working with intricate subsystems that are critical to the Ethereum Protocol.
Our open-source project thrives on transparency, and we communicate regularly in publicly accessible channels, so comfort with this environment is crucial. In this fast-paced and ever-evolving space, your responsibilities will be dynamic and may shift as priorities change.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute reliable, deterministic tests to verify the integrity of protocol upgrades.
Enhance testing methods and improve infrastructure for increased efficiency and comprehensive coverage of protocol feature testing.
Work collaboratively with other teams to facilitate seamless code integration and testing outcomes.
Engage with the open-source community by sharing insights, enhancements, and solutions via public channels.
