About the Team and Role:
In this critical role, you will lead our global accounting team based in Europe, overseeing all accounting operations. This includes managing monthly journal entries, reporting, consolidation, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and supporting audit preparations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the global monthly close and consolidation process, ensuring timely preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting best practices, driving improvements in internal controls and financial quality.
- Mentor and develop a team of two accountants based in Europe, while also assisting in the management of the General Ledger Business Process Outsourcing team in India.
- Collaborate with business partners to enhance the efficiency of current processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.
