About The Role
AMODA is seeking a meticulous and dependable Construction Logistics Officer to enhance our construction project operations. In this role, you will oversee the management of material and equipment flow at our project sites, ensuring precise inventory control, timely material delivery, and effective logistical administration. Collaborating closely with site teams, warehouse staff, and both internal and external stakeholders, you will facilitate seamless site operations and guarantee uninterrupted project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations at the construction site, including the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks (daily, weekly, and monthly) to maintain precise stock records.
- Receive and assess incoming materials to verify accuracy in quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Ensure materials are readily available for construction activities by maintaining minimum stock levels.
- Track and record material usage to prevent shortages, overstock, or misuse.
- Prepare and submit material requests or purchase requisitions based on site requirements and usage.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel, suppliers, and site teams regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for incoming and outgoing materials, including delivery notes and site logs.
- Generate regular reports on material usage, stock status, and logistical challenges encountered on-site.
- Support the administrative and logistical needs of the site team to ensure smooth daily operations, including worker accommodations, food and drink provisions, clean water, electricity, internet access, and transportation to/from the site.
- Provide updated photographs reflecting project progress in coordination with the Project Administrator.
